"One trend that bothers me is the glorification of stupidity, that the media is reassuring people that it’s alright not to know anything."

Carl Sagan  (via acideyedrops)

Agreed, though I would replace “stupidity” with “ignorance”.

"I’ve always been fascinated by true crime, unsolved mysteries, disappearances. Some of the lyrics on this record are inspired by true cases from nearby. The stuff that’s sort of haunted me over the years. I like to visit places where horrible things have happened and just absorb the contrasts – a field where someone was found, for example, and it’s full of people playing ball or having picnics. Oblivious to this thing, this horrible thing that happened right there. Time passes and these things are forgotten. That’s so tragic to me."

When I met them (Chibi, Falcore, and OE who was on tour with them then), I acted so stupidly.
With OE it was all fine, we talked a bit and everything was cool. When some other people wanted to talk to him as well I moved on to Falcore cause he was all alone so I saw my chance and took it.
I got to talk to him for quite a while and he was so nice and I squeezed him so hard when we took a picture together and he laughed at me cause I kept grinning like a superhappy idiot and I was shaking cause I was so excited.
When people started disappearing around Chibi I went to her and she was like “hey, how are you?” and I just smiled and nodded. Why. Why. Why. Why did I just smile and nod! She probably thought I didn’t speak any English. But I just froze. I think I ended up saying something like “fine, how are you” and I remember talking about something while she was writing me an autograph but I have no idea what it was, my head was just blank.

Embarrassing or not, still one of the best days of my life, hands down.
