lace-me-tighter: I get such a kick out of this photograph. I learned long ago not to trust anyone else but myself in lacing my corset because they always tried to do it more or less like this even when instructed otherwise. Bruised ribs, f-yeah.

Recently, I got to spend some time with models at a shooting location. 

I wasn’t around when they were in make-up so this was the first time I saw them. I looked at them, they were gorgeous. Absolutely stunning with red lips and full hair. I was envious.

At the end of the day they were stripped of their garments and make-up. The hair extensions I didn’t know they had came off, their lips were wiped clean.

They looked just like everyone else in the room. Like my boss, like the make-up artist, like me. None of them stood out because of their looks.

I think I learned something today.
